Welcome to Giant Balloons. Ordering is done online and the website is provided free of charge for your personal use, subject to these terms and conditions. By using this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

Ordering is done online; should you have any queries please contact us by emailing us at sales@giantballoons.co.uk or by phoning us Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30am to 5pm.

 

Ordering

 

When you order a product from Giant Balloons we will send you an e-mail confirming the acknowledgment of your order and including the details of your order. Your order signifies an offer to us to buy a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've sent that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send this Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.

 

Payment

 

You are taken to paypal.com or Google Checkout website to complete your purchase order, which is a perfectly secure method of payment. It is not necessary for you to have a paypal account, as you can pay safely using a VISA card. Paypal Security & Privacy ensures none of your financial information is shared with us. Google Checkout allows you to open an account immediately andonly requiring a log-in name and password from you.

 

Delivery

 

We will arrange to deliver the goods with 1st Class Normal Delivery to the address you give us for delivery on your registration form.

Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of your order.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide an address where the goods can be received. If you cannot be at your address to accept you delivery, you could get it delivered to your workplace or a neighbour.

If for any reason, we are out of stock of a certain item or items, Giant Balloons reserves the right to replace them with an item of similar style, colour and theme at the same price or of greater value. We will, of course choose the most appropriate item as a substitute. This should be a rare occurrence as we use an inventory system for all our products, and the system should not allow one to purchase an item which is out of stock.

 

Returns

 

You have the right to cancel your order in 3 days of receipt; you need to contact us with the reason. All goods must be returned unopened & unused in the original packaging with all tags intact as received, if this is not the case we cannot make a refund. Balloons which have been inflated will not be accepted.

The cost of returns is the responsibility of the customer, please note we are not responsible for returned goods lost or damaged in transit back to us.
 
It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain a certificate of posting or insure the goods against loss or damage.
 
Providing the above is adhered to a refund less our delivery costs and other charges as below will be made within 20 days of receipt of goods

A 10% restocking charge & the payment fees as charged to us by Paypal or Google Chckout will be applied to both cancelled and returned orders.

 

Cancellation

 

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if, we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will credit your account any sum deducted by us as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Should you cancel your order prior to us dispatching but following the processing of your payment through paypal or Google Checkout, you will receive a refund less 4 % handling charge, should the order have been dispatched your refund will be less the 4% and the post & packing charges.

 

Safety

 

We do not sell to children. The products are suitable for children but to be purchased by an adult. If you are under 18, you may use this web site only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Giant balloons are safe for people to play with or use for decorations. Not suitable for children under the age of 3. Please make sure that you keep deflated and broken pieces of balloons away from children under the age of eight. Discard broken balloons at once. Adult supervision is required, only adults must inflate balloons and make sure ensure children are using them correctly, using either a hand pump or an electrical pump. Keep balloons at a safe distance from your eyes, face and do not inflate by mouth since the burst of a balloon could cause injury. If you adult/children have latex allergy please do not handle any latex balloons.

Giant Balloon website may contain hyperlinks. These hyperlinks may connect you to sites of other organisations which are not our responsibility. We have used our reasonable endeavours in preparing our own website and the information included in it is done so in good faith. However, we have no control over any of the information you can access via other websites. Therefore, no mention of any organisation, company or individual to which our website is linked shall imply any approval or warranty as to the standing and capability of any such organisations, company or individual on the part of Giant Balloons.
